NUAA-CRANFIELD Double Degree Program for Master in

Aeronautical Engineering (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) and Cranfield University have sign the cooperation Agreement to implement a double Master Degree Education Program of Aeronautical Engineering (Aeronautical Manufacturing), and it was officially approved by the Ministry of Education of P. R. China in September of 2018. The enrollment starts from the year of 2019.

1. Requirements for Registration

• Students applying this program shall take the National Postgraduate Admissions Test and meet the requirements for admissions to be registered NUAA graduate students in Aeronautical Engineering.

• Students must have an English Language Competence Certificate to IELTS level 6.5 or over.

2. Education Pattern

The Program takes 1+1+1 pattern for Chinese full-time students. In the 1st academic year, the students of the program will follow the syllabus of the aeronautical engineering courses of NUAA. In the 2nd academic year, the students will go to study in Cranfiled University for Aerospace Manufacturing courses, finish graduation project and thesis defense. In the 3rd year, students will come back to NUAA and finish graduation project and thesis defense.

3. Degree

Students complete all the study tasks required by the master degree in aeronautical engineering at NUAA and the master degree in Aerospace Manufacturing at Cranfield University, the successful students will be awarded a Master Degree Certificate of Aeronautical Engineering and Graduation Certificate by NUAA and a Master Degree Certificate of Aerospace Manufacturing awarded by CRANFIELD within the regular 3 years’ timeframe of NUAA’s master program.
