The Department of Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering：

The Department of Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering is based on the first-level discipline of Aerospace Science and Technology, which was rated as a national key discipline in 2007. It is one of the first batch of disciplines with the right to grantdoctoral and master's degree. At present, there are postdoctoral stations of Aerospace Science and Technology and the post of Distinguished Professors of  Chang Jiang Scholars Program. 

The department has nearly 10 national-level and provincial practice teaching platforms, such as National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Aerospace Engineering, National Commercial Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering Technology Center (sub-branch), National Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Platform of Virtual Simulation of Aircraft Large Component Assembly, Aerospace Advanced Manufacturing Technology Collaborative Innovation Center of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Aerospace Manufacturing Technology Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of MIIT. Since the year of 2019, it has jointly developed NUAA-CRANFIELD Double Degree Program for Master in Aeronautical Engineering (Aerospace Manufacturing) with Cranfield University in the UK.

In recent years, the department has undertaken more than 300 national projects, such as National Key Scientific and Technological Projects, National Defense Key Pre-research Projects, Aviation Pre-research Projects, Model Engineering projects, 863High-tech Research Projects and various kinds of fund projects. It has won 6 National Scientific Research Achievements Awards, more than 20 Provincial and Ministerial Awards. Our students have won 4 gold awards in the National “Internet + ” College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and 5 special scholarships of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
