The major of Industrial Design is one of the only three key industrial design majors in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, and a characteristic specialty in Jiangsu Province, with the National Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching platform for the User Experience Design of Large Aircraft Cabin of Civil Aviation, Jiangsu Province Practice Education Center, Jiangsu Industrial Design Center. The corresponding discipline has 1 doctorate degree award point and 2 master's degree award points.

Industrial Design Program fosters students to become high-quality innovative design talents with international vision, innovative awareness, engineering practice ability, research and application ability and organizational coordination ability, which engaged in product innovation design, design research and management in high-end industrial equipment, Internet and other related fields.
